How Hypnosis works
Our mind is made up of two parts, the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.
The conscious mind is responsible for analyzing, rationalizing, and short term memory. It makes up approximately 10% of the mind. The conscious mind is the most limited part of us.
The subconscious mind is a storehouse for experiences, emotions, and long term memory. It makes up approximately 90% of the mind. It is flexible and unlimited!
Bad habits and negative behaviors are usually the result of negative suggestions stored over time in the subconscious mind. While in Hypnosis we are able to replace negative suggestions with positive suggestions, resulting in positive behaviors and success.
Will the Hypnotist have “power” over me?
Absolutely not! You are in control the entire time! You cannot be made to do something against your will.
